Autopilot

Dotpilot tells you when it runs by itself.

On average it takes 66 days for a habit to become automatic. Dotpilot tracks how far along each habit is and tells you how many weeks are left.

  • Once a week the app asks how automatic it felt. Your answer feeds into the score.
  • Fewer reminders once something has stuck. The app only speaks up again when several days are missing.

Skips

One missed day breaks nothing.

A single miss costs your autopilot nothing. For your streak you get two skips a week. And if you only forgot to check off yesterday, one tap in the morning fills it in.

  • Log it and Skip sit as buttons right at the top of Today.
  • Your streak counts too, as the second number next to the autopilot.
  • Up to 30 days back, you can correct anything.

Anchor

“After my first coffee” beats any alarm.

Habits stick better when they hang on something you already do every day. In Dotpilot every habit gets such a moment, and Today sorts itself around them.

  • Three views: the week for filling in, the day by time of day, the grid with every dot field.
  • Under the name you can note what exactly counts: “5 push-ups” or “B12 and vitamin D”.
  • Breaking habits too: you count the slips, and every day without is a win.

Review

Every dot is a day you showed up.

Dotpilot sums up your week, month and year in plain sentences: “Done 300 times.” The year grid shows all habits in one picture, and at year’s end you get your year as a story to share.

  • Your strong and weak weekdays at a glance.
  • Each habit’s path to autopilot, as a curve.

Apple Watch and widgets

Check off without picking up your iPhone.

One tap on your watch or in a widget is enough. Dotpilot doesn’t need to be open.

  • Apple Watch with complications for your watch face.
  • Widgets for Home and Lock Screen.
  • Siri and Shortcuts.

Quick answers

Questions and answers

Are there streaks?

Yes. Your streak is the second number next to the autopilot, and two skips a week keep it alive. The big number is still the autopilot: it doesn’t drop to zero after one missed day. A streak does.

What does Dotpilot cost?

Nothing, as long as three habits are enough for you. Dotpilot Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks everything. There is no subscription.

Where is my data?

On your iPhone. With Pro you can sync it between your devices through your private iCloud. Dotpilot has no server of its own and no account, and I receive no data from you.

Can I move over from another app?

Yes. Under Settings → Backup and export you import a table (CSV). Dotpilot understands one row per habit and day or one column per habit, shows you what it found first, and leaves what’s already there as it is.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. The watch is an extra in Pro. Dotpilot works fully on the iPhone.

Is Dotpilot available for iPad or Android?

No. Dotpilot is only available for iPhone and Apple Watch.

Which system version do I need?

iOS 27 on iPhone and watchOS 26 on Apple Watch.
